Manager Training: Assigning and Reviewing Training
How managers assign training pathways, monitor completion, flag overdue staff, review evidence, and handle training waivers through the governed workflow.
Assigning training responsibly
Managers should assign modules and pathways according to the employee's role, department, project exposure, and compliance need. Assignments should be relevant and traceable, not used as generic busywork.
Reviewing completion states
Assigned, in-progress, overdue, waived, and completed states should be reviewed separately. A module is complete only when the Portal has a recorded completion event and evidence for the assigned user.
Handling exceptions
Waivers, extensions, and exceptions should be recorded with a clear reason. Do not mark incomplete training as complete just to tidy a dashboard.
Portal completion
Assigned users complete this module, assessments, acknowledgements and evidence requirements inside the Lumio-Tek Portal.
